Biden has already been vocal about his intention to hit the ground running with his administration. His chief of staff released a memo Saturday eliciting a wide range of executive orders targeting Trump administration policies.
Among the memo’s additions to Biden’s agenda are repeals of several travel bans President Trump had signed into law, extensions of pandemic-related restrictions on evictions and student loans. He also plans to instate mask mandates on federal property as well as for interstate travel. The memo also mentions an order to agencies directing them connect separated immigrant children with their parents. This is all according to a memo released by Ronald Klain, Biden’s white house chief of staff, which you can view here.
Ronald Klain made mention that additional actions will be added to the plan for the first week, after legal review. Stay tuned for updates as the Biden transition team continues to announce plans for the first months of their agenda.
